The Taproom Series with Mad Iguanas

Classic rock with a taste of the blues

Mad Iguanas draws inspiration from the Grateful Dead, John Prine, and Peter Tosh to name a few. You’ll get a taste of classic rock, blues and country in a Mad Iguanas concert. Their original music gets the audience out of their seats and on to the floor groovin’ to the beat. They regularly rev up the crowd at Big Lick Brewing Company in Roanoke, Virginia. That’s where Roots2Rock caught up with them.

The band celebrated its 10 year anniversary in early 2019. The founders of the group are brothers Foster and Daniel Burton. Foster sings and plays guitar. Daniel sings and is on bass. They are joined by Charlie Wimmer on drums and Mark Nicholson on lead guitar.

What is Roots2Rock on the road?

Our Roots2Rock on the road series is just as it sounds. Our crew packs the gear in the wagon and hits the road to bring you live music streamed on our Facebook page. These live streams come from taprooms, smaller listening rooms and even recording studios. When we say live we mean a multi-camera switched live stream that will immerse viewers into the performance.
